Janice Kiecolt-Glaser, PhD, Distinguished University Professor, S. Robert Davis Chair of Medicine, Professor of Psychiatry, Psychology, Health Behavior and Health Promotion and Institute of Behavioral Medicine Research is a clinical health psychologist who has been with the Department of Psychiatry since 1978. She serves on the President's and Provost's Advisory Committee for the College of Medicine and on the Investigations Committee. She currently serves on the editorial boards of Brain, Behavior, and Immunity and Psychosomatic Medicine, and was recently an NIH study section member for Biobehavioral Mechanisms of Emotion, Stress, and Health. She has been a Council Member of the Psychoneuroimmunology Research Society since 2009.
She has over 150 publications and is frequently sought to lecture nationally and internationally on stress and immunity. Dr. Kiecolt-Glaser currently has funding for three R01's via the National Institute on Aging and the National Cancer Institute as well as an R21 via the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine. She is also co-investigator on an additional National Institute of Aging R01.
